Frontier Building Supply Philosophy

Just as it was in 1975 the operating philosophy we follow today is based on three key elements,

  • Unparalleled Customer Service

  • Quality Materials at Competitive Prices

  • Being Part of the Local Community

You have our word on this…. Unparalleled Service to Our Customers
Do you prefer to do your business at the jobsite, or in the store? You have a choice. Our outside sales staff will come to your jobsite, go over specifications, deliver quotes and even take window or door measurements so you don't have to waste time away from the jobsite. Jobsite deliveries are second nature, usually within 24 hours and often same day.

If you prefer to do business with us in our stores, we have excellent contractor sales teams at each location to handle your order quickly and efficiently so that you can get back to the jobsite quickly with the materials you need. Oh, and the coffee is always on.

Providing the Highest Quality Materials at Competitive Prices
As a professional, you can’t afford to build with anything less than the best when it comes to tools and materials. At Frontier Building Supply, that’s what we’re all about, the highest quality lumber and sheet goods available from a select group of mills and manufacturers. Every product line we offer is picked for its quality then monitored for consistency in quality and competitiveness in price. Perfection? Even when you are the best in the business perfection can be elusive but for our customers, we always give it our best shot.

We Love Being Part of the Local Community
Because Frontier Building Supply has conducted business in Skagit, Island and San Juan County for over 30 years, we know our customers and we know our community. We take a great deal of pride in knowing that we have helped so many of our neighbors and friends by providing the materials to build or remodel their homes and businesses.
A business that takes it success from the community that surrounds it should always be willing to give back to that community. We are proud to have participated in literally hundreds of community projects in all of the areas where we do business. We’ve been able to provide everything from materials to build handicap ramps for senior citizens to holding an annual golf tournament and charity auction to benefit childrens organizations of our communities. This latter event, helps provide organizations such as Big Brothers and Sisters and Boys and Girls Clubs with everything from computers to soccer equipment. Are we a part of the community? You bet, but even more importantly, our communities are a part of who we are.
